The article is devoted to the analysis of the innovative and managerial potential of the project activities of scientific libraries, which is a complex and multi-component area of work. The author considers key aspects of the success of this activity: knowledge-competence, organizational and reflexive, physiological and psycho-emotional. The importance of conditions that contribute to the effectiveness of the project work of scientific libraries, such as planning, team organization, control and the use of modern technologies is shown.

The development of digital technologies necessitates the adaptation of libraries to the conditions of the modern information society. Their key task is to provide users with constant round-the-clock access to information resources and services, regardless of the time constraints of the traditional work schedule. In the field of library and information services, there is an increasing trend towards the introduction of digital tools – chat-bots and dialog agents, operating on the basis of artificial intelligence and providing operational user service in real time.

The article explores the way in which new objects of study, such as dance performance and art–practice, emerge in algorithmic aesthetics. The advent of digital communicative practices shapes new means of formalization of dance performance scripts, which nowadays have various technological solutions, including algorithmic ones. Classical aesthetics is unable to describe the technological modernization of artistic expression. The author offers a general framework of algorithmic aesthetics to study of dance performance and art practice.

With the development of digitalization, new services are emerging that allow attracting users to libraries, personalizing services and automating processes of their comfortable provision, etc. In the context of transformation, libraries have to adapt to new realities, but at the same time, new opportunities appear every day to improve their work in the digital space.
