Electronic union catalog of the Siberian and Far Eastern books as a historical information resource
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Thu, 08/25/2022 - 13:08The article gives a brief overview of research on the problems of preparing union catalogs; it shows that the creation of the national union catalogs’ system is a strategic direction for the library and information science development in Russia. The paper characterizes Database (DB) «Siberian and Far Eastern book. XVIII century - 1930: a union catalog» as an integral part of the Russian national bibliography created by the Department of Scientific Bibliography of the State Public Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Digital copies of «Instructive gospel» in manuscripts and early printed tradition

The novelty and currency of this area in the study of Russian medieval book culture is determined by the factor of searching archaeographical work. Their presentation in the series «Book monument of Siberia» answers the urgent tasks of broadening the source base for scientific developments in the area of humanitarian studies.

Adaptation and job satisfaction: empirical research, generalizations and results

Domestic sociologists and psychologists have been actively engaged in research of this topic since 1960s, foreign researchers - since the early XX century. Job satisfaction is often regarded as adaptation results measured with objective and subjective indicators. The most recognized factors influencing it are the following: gender, age, experience, work character and content, profession prestige in society, personal value-meaning orientations of employees.

Modern libraries practices for teaching information literacy

The concept of information literacy firstly appeared in the United States in the 1970th. It was a response to the development of information society. Up to now the idea has not lost its relevance, due to the intensive growth of information technologies, an increase in information volumes and the emergence of new educational paradigms.
