Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The article describes brief bibliography of professor A.P. Stepanov, who was the first head of the Veterinary Department of the Petrovskaya Academy of Agronomy and Forestry (now Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy).
Evaluation of the enzymatic activity of haplic chernozem contaminated by petroleum hydrocarbons after bioremediation
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45Introduction. The evaluation of the ecological state of soils in terms of enzymatic activity during the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons contamination is very informative. The activity of enzymes of the oxidoreductases and hydrolases classes in chernozem is most sensitive to contamination by heavy metals, pesticides, and other types of anthropogenic impact. The informativeness and sensitivity of enzymes during the remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons-contaminated soils have not been adequately studied. Materials and methods.
Food consumption in the russian federation for 1998– 2022: challenges and institutional responses
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The article studies the dynamics of food consumption in the Russian Federation for 1998–2022. The methodological basis of the presented work is a comprehensive approach, which takes into account the long-term dynamics of food consumption in the Russian Federation, the main macroeconomic indicators and their interrelations in connection with the issues of the development of the food market in our country.
Effect of sterile cytoplasm type on valuable breeding traits of F1 sorghum hybrids under diff erent moisture conditions
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45Some researchers have found the influence of sterile cytoplasm on the manifestation of biological and valuable breeding traits in sorghum. In addition, some authors detect the influence of sterile cytoplasm, while others describe the absence of differences between F1 hybrids obtained from CMS lines with the same nuclear genome and differing only in the type of sterile cytoplasm.
Evaluation of the long-term effects of the permanent cropping on soil microbial communities
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The study of soil microbial communities under different agricultural crops (flax, clover, barley, potato, winter rye) grown in permanent cropping and crop rotation was carried out. The effect of permanent cropping and crop rotation on the taxonomic profile of the prokaryotic and fungal components of the soil microbiome was studied. The effect of permanent cropping and crop rotation on the metabolic intensity and stability of soil biota in the absence of mineral and organic fertilisers was assessed.
Instrumental economic injury level and economic threshold of spider mite populations on strawberries
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45Spider mites of the genus Tetranychus are universally one of the significant pests that damage garden strawberries and many other crops. One of the important problems of the pest population management is to be able to identify the thresholds of this pest, which, when feeding, causes a change in the color of plant leaves.
Complex assessment of Hemerocallis hybrida Hort. cultivars under the conditions of the Forest-Steppe Zone of the Bashkir Cis-Urals
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45A comprehensive assessment and selection of the most valuable taxa suitable for use in landscaping under certain natural and climatic conditions is one of the most important tasks of introduction studies of ornamental plants. The article presents the results of a comprehensive variety assessment, a study of the seasonal rhythm of growth and development, and morphometric characteristics of 20 hybrid daylily varieties (Hemerocallis hybrida hort.) in the South-Ural Botanical Garden-Institute of UFRC RAS.
Analysis of the immunoreactivity of avenins in oats (Avena sativa L.) cultivated in Western Siberia
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically susceptible people after eating prolamin-containing grains. The only cure for celiac disease is a lifelong glutenfree diet, but adherence to this diet can also have a negative impact on health. A good solution may be to include oat products in such a diet. However, different oat varieties differ in their immunogenicity, and studying the immunoreactivity of their prolamins to identify gluten-free genotypes is of utmost importance.
Conversions of uracil, glycine, and glucose arriving in forest litter of sod-podzolic soil as litter compounds
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45In model experiments under forest ecosystem conditions, samples of partially decomposed forest litter and soil from a 0–10 cm layer containing 14C-labeled organic matter were selected. The label was introduced in the form of low molecular weight water-soluble organic substances of individual nature – glycine, uracil and glucose together with unlabelled plant litter in nylon bags. The experiment was carried out in the late autumn period on the territory of the Malinsky forestry, 20 km south-west of Moscow, on a medium loamy sod-podzolic soil.
