The systemic scheme of the “black box” is a starting point to elaborate an explanatory approach to the main characteristics of anthropogenesis. Next steps are the stages of sapientization and the functionalist concept of care / structure which allows describe and explain the processes of biological and social (cultural) evolution in a unified manner. The most important processes of anthropogenesis associated with social interactions and communication have left no direct traces. That is why their analysis and explanation require special logic and methodology.
The study examines revolutionary waves - the process of spreading protest activity from one society to another. The author reveals the specifics and analyzes the nature of relations within the “red wave” in post-war Asia in the 40s - 70s of the twentieth century. The paper explains the structural, ideological and organizational relationship between these revolutions (uprising, partisan wars) using the world system analysis, demographic and structural theory, the theory of military revolutions, and the neo-Marxist model of B. Moore.
The article analyzes the phenomenon of progressivism existing at the level of mass consciousness and in the form of ideas and even ideologies. This phenomenon displays a number of characteristic features: the belief in the irreversibility and lack of alternatives to scientific-technological progress; an abeyance of tradition; the primacy of opinion over justification, of novelty and originality over the desire for truth; the pretentiousness of language. The article justifies the existence of an alternative paradigm to progressivism, which can be called «new evolutionism».
A critique of phenomenological interpretation of quantum Bayesianism (QBism) is offered, in particular, the position of M. Bitbol and L. de La Tremblay, which removes remnants of scientific realism from QBism and adopts a radically phenomenological first person point of view. It is shown that phenomenological view of quantum mechanics cannot explain cognition of quantum reality and behavior of real quantum systems, because the ultimate reality for phenomenology is autonomous phenomena, which, in fact, do not exist.
The article describes the key points of the discussion on the «epochal break» in science, its transition to the «post-academic» stage associated with commercialization and the rise of the pragmatic approach to planning, funding and evaluation of research results, which leads to a new image of modern science. The patterns are illustrated by the example of processes taking place in modern Russian (post-Soviet) science.
The concept of analyticity plays an important role in establishing truths. Both in the traditional logic of terms and modern logic of predicates, similar approaches are used to reconstruct the idea of reliable substantiation. Kant used the categories of synthetic a priori, Frege relied on the features of terms (individual constants and functions) to formulate the conditions for the application of definitions.
The article is devoted to identifying the causes of anti-religious sentiments in Italy at the turn of the 18-19 th centuries. The authors point to the reasons for the apologetic writings of Italian theologians. Their views had a very beneficial effect on the mental and in particular on the religious movement in Italy. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the situation in Italy in the 18-19 th centuries.
The article is devoted to understanding the prospects of possible application of advanced technological developments in order to improve the biological nature of man. It analyses the ideas of Ray Kurzweil, who is a supporter of such transformations of human nature. It is shown that Kurzweil’s conclusions are of a worldview nature: in the near future, through the cyborgization of people, it will be possible to achieve a state close to immortality and, thus, solve the world-view issues of self-knowledge and create the conditions for unlimited self-development.
The phenomenon of insolvency (bankruptcy) is considered as a mode of existence of the subject of risk in the projection of his socio-economic behavior (fear, anxiety, loneliness) and features of personal constitution (evasion of responsibility, restriction of freedom, being in debt, deception).
