The authors discuss the results of building interreflections (matches) of research specialty codes and GRNTI subject headings based on the comparative intellectual analysis. The current master version of the State Rubricator of Scitech Information (SRSTI, GRNTI) and the verified version of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC, VAK) are compared.
The authors discuss the findings of the study to compare relevant master versions of the State Rubricator of Sci-tech Information and Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) in Russian. The classifications are compared through the method of intellectual analysis of intrinsic and semantic characteristics of SRSTI subject headings and UDC main schedules and its general and special subdivision tables. The UDC compound numbers are assigned to over the half of all rubrication vertexes. Over one third of SRSTI headings are assigned the compound UDC numbers made of two+ simple or compound numbers.
The authors introduce the findings of their research on updating and improving the existing (2021) master version of the State Rubricator of Sci-tech Information (GRNTI) and preparing the master version 2022, in particular, updating and improving the Rubricator links and reference tools to these tools of GRNTI Master Version 2021.
For today, the RNPLS&T’s single network of classifications comprises four classification systems, i. e. State Rubicator of Sci-tech Information (GRNTI, version 2021) as the network foundation and core of the State System of Sci-tech Information, UDC (UDC tables in Russian), Classification Codes of the Higher Attestation Commission, WoS categories and subject areas, and international OECD classification.
