As part of the implementation of the “Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in the Russian Federation for 2017–2030”, an important task is to develop criteria for assessing the social effectiveness of electronic services in the field of culture– in particular, in librarianship. When organizing children’s reading, the leading role is played by information and recommendation support, which can increase the interest of children-readers in books and create conditions for a safe information media environment.
The article describes the experience of higher school electronic libraries (EL) activities in Omsk according to sociological research results. Aspects of the EL foundation in Omsk have been analyzed; problems of organization and compliance of collections are revealed; comfort and convenience factors of resources usability, as well as perspectives of higher school EL development in Omsk are defined.
The objectives of the research are as follows: 1. To substantiate the content of the transdisciplinary concept “Bibliologos” and to demonstrate its use in library and book science. 2. To develop the historical periodization of the origin, formation and development of Bibliologos on the background of anthropological and intellectual revolutions from the paleolithic to the noosphere. 3. To outline the prospects for revolutionary transformations of humanity in the foreseeable future.
It is shown that the problems of information literacy are of interest for specialists in foreign and domestic libraries and higher school, while in many countries it is understood in different ways. The work of the IFLA Standing Committee on Information Literacy to promote information education and enlightenment is described.
The books’ role in the German Enlightenment discourse explores the intersection of different but complementary disciplines: bibliology, philosophy of culture and «text linguistics», as well as the history of literature that expands the possibilities of studying cultural and public communication. A text (magazine, book) is interpreted as a mechanism that controls the process of learning and understanding. To illustrate the study theoretical foundations, the author considers the historical practice of the literary era in Germany in 1770-1790.
In the mirror of the cognitological approach professor A. V. Sokolov’s creative career as a humanist, possessing the knowledge of informatics, social communication and information society is shown. The author reveals his contribution to the formation of the status of library and bibliographical studies as scientific and practical fields within information and communication cycle of knowledge.
