Today, the issues of accelerated achievement of technological sovereignty of our country are on the agenda. Patent information is a part of scientific and technical information to which inventors, patent attorneys and intellectual property specialists refer. Patent information has a number of advantages over other types of information, it includes technical information about the development and other materials related to the applicant, the copyright holder and the technical solution.

The image of the first Russian State libraries (the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Library of Russia) is examined in the context of their work with the mass media. The uniqueness of the image of national and similar in scale of activity state libraries is emphasized. The purpose of the article is to identify trends in the coverage of these libraries’ activities in press.

New objects of research in algorithmic aesthetics: dance performance and choreographic art practice

The article explores the way in which new objects of study, such as dance performance and art–practice, emerge in algorithmic aesthetics. The advent of digital communicative practices shapes new means of formalization of dance performance scripts, which nowadays have various technological solutions, including algorithmic ones. Classical aesthetics is unable to describe the technological modernization of artistic expression. The author offers a general framework of algorithmic aesthetics to study of dance performance and art practice.

The article is devoted to the analysis of book transformation as one of the oldest and the most influential types of media in the historical context of media revolutions. It characterizes the main attributes of media, underlining common features of the book and other types of media. The article explores the evolution and specific changes of oral, written and electronic information carriers and other types of media in the context of time and space. It analyses historical conditions and the modern tendency to reproduce a book in audio and electronic formats.

Book and media are considered as unique phenomena the essence of which being reflected in sense-filled notions. The aim of the article is to reveal the place of book in the media space.

The article presents tools for searching and analyzing keywords in the scientific electronic library eLIBRARY.ru. On the basis of identifying common keywords in research on information and library policy, as well as determining of the most used keywords in each of the scientific areas, the current state and prospects for the integration of library science, political science and sociological research are determined. The author comes to the following conclusions.
