Variability analysis of morphological characteristics of sping wheat in the field conditions of the Central region of Non-chernozem zone of Russia for identification of example varieties to be used in DUS testing

This article presents the results of the three-year data analysis of DUS testing of the spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) collection by morphological varietal characteristics. The following cultivars were identified as candidates for example varieties: Ivolga, Iren’, Lisa, Talba, Chelyaba rannaya, Bazhenka, Grechanka, Dal’gau 3, KWS Shirokko, Silantiy, Start 1, KWS Torridon. These varieties reflect all the gradations of found characteristics.

The article presents the results of research on the study of biomorphological features of Phlox paniculata L. varieties from the collection of the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy for the most important ornamental and economically valuable features. A methodology was developed and carried out to assess the ornamental features of some Ph. paniculata varieties to obtain breeding material promising for use in urban landscaping, as well as agro-industrial facilities and private gardening.

The article presents the results of research on the adaptability of planting material of neglected sweetvetch (Hedysarum neglectum Ledeb.) obtained by clonal micropropagation in the natural and climatic conditions of the Vologda District, Vologda Region, Russia. Currently, the development of the medicinal plant industry in Russia plays an important role within the concept of saving the health of the population.

Lowbush blueberry ( Vaccinium angustifolium Ait. ) is one of the most promising berry crops for cultivation on acid soils in the European part of Russia, but additional testing of varieties and cultivars in the conditions of the Non-Chernozem zone regions is needed. The article presents the results of studies on the phenological and morphological features, evaluation of yield and winter hardiness of V. angustifolium plants of Russian selection ( cultivars Lakomka, Neya, Pomorochka, hybrid form NB-60-11 ) in the natural and climatic conditions of Moscow.

The article presents the results of studies on phenological and morphological characteristics of forest berry plants obtained by microclonal propagation and adapted ex vitro, after transplanting to open ground conditions in the Vologda district of the Vologda region. Nowadays, in the conditions of import substitution and demand for fruit and berry products, the industrial cultivation of berry planting material is necessary.

Analysis of blood biochemical status is a universal way of monitoring metabolism and general physiological state of animals, which determines the relevance of identifying the nature of relationships between blood biochemical parameters and various economically useful and biological traits. The aim of the work is to determine the correlations between blood biochemical parameters and morphological features of broiler chickens (on the example of cross Ross 308).

The article presents the results of the study of phenological and morphological characteristics of medicinal plants obtained by clonal micropropagation and adapted ex vitro after transplanting to the open ground in the Vologda district of the Vologda region. At present, in the conditions of import substitution for obtaining domestic pharmaceutical raw materials, it is necessary to grow medicinal plants in demand industrially. Plants of the Hedysarum neglectum Ledeb., Hypericum perforatum L., Artemisia dracunculus L. (cultivars ‘Goodwin’, ‘Monarch’) were studied as research objects.
