Electronic Guides on Websites of Russian Libraries: Types, Topics, Structure

The role of electronic guides as a means of multidimensional information search is noted. The authors of the article translate the previously proposed definition of the concept of “electronic bibliographic guide” and reveal its significant features as a polystructural phenomenon. The authors analyze electronic bibliographic guides presented on the websites of federal and central libraries of the subjects of the Russian Federation. Their multidimensional classification is proposed.

Illegal print in Soviet Siberia: a brief historical essay (1921-1991)

Main tendencies of unsanctioned publishing activity in the Soviet period are characterized. The study is based on a wide range of sources, many of them are introduced into scientific circulation for the first time. It was found that the forms and content of uncensored editions were conditioned by a specific historical social-political conditions and social-cultural processes. The continuity of pre-revolutionary traditions of the underground press was traced.

Reader's communication is considered as process of transferring and perception of knowledge on the basis of the U. Shramm and C. Osgud’s circular model of communication. Elements of the communicative model (the communicator 1 – coding process – message – channel – the communicator 2 – a decoding process – feed-back) and their specificity in scientific sphere are considered in detail.
