Remote sensing of pastures to predict sheep productivity

This article discusses the prospects for the use and rapid development of modern satellite systems and observation technologies in pasture farming. The main possibilities of constructing a predictive model for planning the productivity of pasture herbage on the basis of multivariate analysis of remote sensing are presented. The obtained data are used to build a technological map of animal grazing.

The article highlights the problems of the importance and necessity of the permanent consumption of fresh and processed fruit and berry products, which are essential for human health as the main strategic resource of the economy of any state. The aim of the article is to demonstrate the possibilities of providing the population with fresh fruits, berries and processed products in the volume corresponding to the rational consumption norms, to determine the ways of improving the sustainable development of the domestic fruit subcomplex in the conditions of international sanctions.

The paper is a tribute to the famous mineralogist, one of the founders of biogeochemistry, a leading specialist in phosphorites to professor Yakov V. Samoilov. The authors show the development of the outstanding Russian scientist as a researcher and a teacher and emphasize Ya.V. Samoilov ’s contribution to development of mineralogy, fertilizers industry, agrochemistry and agriculture of our country. The paper is written in connection with 150 th anniversary to Ya.V. Evaluation of the current state of Erythronium caucasicum woronow in nature and culture

Monitoring of Erythronium caucasicum Woronow (Caucasian kandyk), family Liliaceae on the territory of the Stavropol upland has been carried out since 2010. The Caucasian Kandyk is a glacial relic, listed in the Red Books of the Russian Federation, Stavropol Territory and other regions. In our region, this is an endangered species, status 1 (E), having point ranges (protection category III).

An urgent task for dairy cattle breeding is to study the genetic structure of the population by polymorphic systems, which serves as one of the elements of genetic monitoring. Based on the analysis of new methods for assessing the genotypes of animals, it is advisable not only to increase the total amount of protein, but also to increase individual qualitative indicators of protein-milk content. The purpose of the research is to study the occurrence frequency of the Bola-DRB3 gene alleles in sire bulls of the Holstein breed.

Ecological and economic aspects of the cultivation of the medicinal lion’s mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus)

The results of studies on the effect of the substrate composition for the cultivation of Lion’s mane mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) are presented. The search for alternative raw materials for the preparation of substrates is associated with the possibility of using lignin-ammonium compost, balanced in terms of basic nutrients, which is much cheaper than oak sawdust and is more accessible in the region. Replacing brown rice by wheat grain in the substrate contributed to the enrichment of the mass with vitamins, proteins and essential amino acids.

Accumulation and distribution of nutrients in the muscles and hepatopancreas of two-year-old carp (Cyprinus carpio) fed with different rations

The paper deals with the influence of different feed quality on the chemical composition and features of nutrient accumulation in the somatic muscles and hepatopancreas of two-year-old carp species. Fish were fed using pendulum auto-feeders on demand with K-111 compound feeds (23% protein and 3.5% fat) and Karp 38/12 (38% protein and 12% fat). In variant I, K-111 compound feed was used (in both car feeders), in variant II - Karp-38/12 (in both car feeders), in variant III-K-111 and Karp-38/12 (in different car feeders).
