Г. А. Шарпилова The purpose of the article is to provide the developed navigator model as a single access point to information resources of Chelyabinsk scientific libraries. The article grounds the urgency of the common information-educational space of the large industrial city. Iintimated by the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Scientific Library (CRUSL) project to create the navigator – the system of access to subscribed electronic information resources and Chelyabinsk scientific libraries’ resources of own generation serves this purpose. The creation of a single access point to Chelyabinsk scientific libraries’ information resources will allow institutions to optimize the costs for acquiring and storing information resources, as well as to coordinate effectively the activities of libraries in working with electronic resources and their use by readers.
