Book-trade networks in Siberia and the Far East: the initiation history, present state and development trends (part 1)
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Thu, 08/25/2022 - 13:08Based on the analysis of publications of scholars and book practitioners the author formulates main features and definition of the bookselling network as a set of wholesale, wholesale-retail and retail bookselling enterprises under common management (a single management center and unified management principles), which sell the similar book and accompanying assortment of goods and services for personal and public (library) consumption to get profit.
Communicative model of «business reading»

Reader's communication is considered as process of transferring and perception of knowledge on the basis of the U. Shramm and C. Osgud’s circular model of communication. Elements of the communicative model (the communicator 1 – coding process – message – channel – the communicator 2 – a decoding process – feed-back) and their specificity in scientific sphere are considered in detail.

The Book Heritage of the Scriptoriums in Kazan and Sviyazhsk of the XVII Century
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Thu, 08/25/2022 - 13:08The political and cultural integration of the vast Kazan region, annexed to the Moscow state in the middle of the XVI century, led to the formation of the Russian regional cultural environment and the organization of the Orthodox mission. The important factor in these processes was the distribution of Cyrillic handwritten and printed books. Kazan and Sviyazhsk became the centers of Russian book culture in the annexed lands, where monasteries and temples with rich libraries had already existed since the second half of the XVI century.

Its possibilities for multifactorial scientometric analysis of scientific activity which allow to get and analyze the quantitative and factual data. The proposed method of scientometric analysis is applicable for studying any scientific research directions.
Russian book business in Estonia in the XIX - early XX centuries (based on materials of publishing activity in Narva)

It traces publishing activities development in Narva - a city at the crossroads of cultures, gives a thematic-typological analysis of the publishing repertoire. The contribution characteristic of different ethnic groups in spreading Russian books at the Baltic States is represented based on studying typographers' social composition.
