«Description of Siberia» by Nikifor Venyukov: on the history of introduction into scientific circulation of a Russian literature monument of the XVII сentury

K. I. Abramov’s contribution to the development of the methodology of library history: historical reconstruction

Abramov to the methodology of library history, the author of almost 340 publications, of which two-thirds are devoted to history. The importance of his contribution to the development of source studies, historiography, archeography, and library history is emphasized. Based on the principle of historicism and methods of structural analysis, the historical reconstruction of the formation and development of his methodological views was carried out.

The structure of types and kinds of the publications, dynamics of publication activity for the period from 1990 to 2008, the list of the authors with the largest number of publications are revealed. The range of journals, in which the largest amount of documents, is determined, as well as the leading organizations and countries on the information production on the subject considered.
