I. Slukhovsky. It analyzes Slukhovsky’s professional development as a library scientist and a historian; overviews his major works on the librarianship history. The main emphasis is on a trilogy on the history of librarianship and bibliology in the XI-XVIII centuries.
Library activities on the organization of population leisure: the terminological aspect

It establishes thematic focus, character features of available publications and gaps in studying the problem history based on sources analysis. The author made a conclusion on the necessity of a complex approach to investigate the Russian-German book contacts in the historical-cultural context.
Russian Cossack publications in China (the first half of the 20th century)

Their analysis has shown that some of the most active public associations in Russian China were the Cossack ones, which existed in Harbin, Shanghai and areas adjacent to the Soviet-Chinese border. The Cossacks paid great attention to printed publications. They published articles and information about their activities in the Russian press in China. The Cossack Union in the Far East developed a special publication activity.
