Library community in the aspect of educational background: Monitoring findings

The authors analyze the current educational status of public librarians and library specialists in Russia. The All-Russia Monitoring of Library Staffing Requirements made the empirical foundation of the study. The Russian State Library held the monitoring for the first time for the Russian librarianship of the 20th–21st centuries.
