Development of plum seedlings under drip irrigation in central Non-chernozem zone

Currently, there are no scientifically approved resource-saving technologies for growing plum seedlings in Non-Chernozem nurseries. Therefore, the study was aimed at determining the effect of variable soil moisture supply on the growth and development of plum seedlings. Based on this parameter, a rational mosture regime of Non-Chernozem nurseries can be developed. Field studies were conducted on the territory of a study experimental farm and the fruit-growing laboratory “Mi-churinsky Garden” at Russian Timiryazev State Agrarian University.

The production of planting material for fruit, forest and ornamental perennial crops has been recently characterized by a tendency to obtain and use seedlings with a root-balled system (RBS) for setting out new plantings. To obtain the best results in the cultivation of this type of planting material, it is necessary to study a sufficiently large number of parameters, including the selection of the optimal soil substrate, taking into account its composition, which will depend on chemical and physical parameters, resistance to leaching of nutrients, etc.

Improving the technology of reproduction of sweet-berry honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L.) with woody cuttings

Sweet-berry honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L) is a promising berry crop that can be marketed throughout the summer due to the diversity of cultivars with different ripening periods. The area occupied by honeysuckle in Russia is 700 hectares. To increase industrial plantations, it is necessary to provide farms with high-quality planting material. One of the ways of obtaining seedlings is through wood cuttings. The aim of our work is to select a root formation stimulator for woody honeysuckle cuttings. The experiment was carried out in the Moscow region.
