Industrial fish farming is the most dynamically developing area of domestic aquaculture. Therefore, the problem of obtaining live feeds for growing juvenile fish under artificial conditions is of utmost importance, since such feeds are characterized by high nutritional value, high content of protein, fat, essential amino acids, vitamins, enzymes and other important components.

The scope of application of embryonic and fetal stem cells (SCs) is limited due to their multidirectional differentiation in the recipient’s organism and possible formation of teratomas and tera-tocarcinomas, as well as due to some ethical reasons. Therefore, adult stem cells (postnatal SCs) are more widely used. These cells are divided into hematopoietic, mesenchymal stromal, and tissue-specific progenitor cells-precursors. Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are able to colonize and provide long-term self-support.

In aquaculture, physiological assessment is required to monitor the health status of fish. Blood is the most responsive system in the organism of hydrobionts to changes in external factors. The study of hematological parameters of fish allows for early diagnosis of diseases, working out the technological mode of breeding and rearing, and selection. The typing of cells in circulating fluids is important for compiling hemocytic and leukocyte formulas characterizing the cellular component of the organism’s immune response.

The use of probiotics is recommended for sustainable growth, increased resistance and efficiency of feed assimilation. Currently, there are commercial probiotic products prepared from the bacteria Bacillus sp., Lactobacillus sp., Enterococcus sp., Carnobacterium sp. The use of the probiotic supplement “Enzimsporin” in fish farming is in its infancy. However, information is available on the effectiveness of its use in rainbow trout.

Cultivated hydrobionts under intensive aquaculture conditions are exposed to stress factors associated with artificial habitats, increased planting density, periodic fishing, etc. At the same time, they experience a decrease in resistance and resilience and an increase in morbidity. A good solution to this problem is the use of immunomodulators. This article presents the results of a study of the effect on fish of the immunomodulator Roncoleukin, which is a dosage form of recombinant human interleukin‑2 (IL-2) isolated and purified from yeast cells (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).
