Evaluation of influence of samples of the ×Trititrigia collection as source material for grain quality in the breeding process of grain crops
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45In the conditions of the Central Non-Chernozem region, the development of wheat and triticale varieties combining stable high yields and grain quality is one of the most important breeding problems. One of the solutions may be to increase the genetic diversity of new varieties through interspecific and intergeneric hybridization. Trititrigia (×Trititrigia cziczinii Tzvel., 1973) is a synthetic grain crop (2n=56), a potential donor of economically valuable traits of wheat. The studies were carried out in the conditions of sod-podzolic heavy loamy soils of the Moscow region (2008–2014).
Abderakhim Evaluating the efficiency of feeding broiler chickens of the Arbor Acres cross in hot climatic conditions of the Republic of Chad
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The paper presents the results of evaluating the efficiency of feed rations offered to broilers of the Arbor Acres cross, formed taking into account the climatic, geochemical conditions of Central Africa and its native food flora. The study was conducted on the basis of an experimental farm at the University of N’Djamena, the Republic of Chad. In the experiment, the authors used five formulas of feed rations, which are currently used by farms in the Republic of Chad for growing broiler chickens. They mainly contain locally availble ingredients.
Russia and other countries in the global fruit and berry market
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45Among other countries of the world, Russia is one of the crucial subjects of the world market for fruit and berry produce. The objects of this market are numerous types of fruits, berries, and nuts. Most of them have been known to man since ancient times and have been in international trade since the first civilizations. The kiwi, for example, was cultivated relatively recently and did not appear on the world market until the second half of the 20 th century.
Economic scientifi c schools of Timiryazev academy: development, areas of activities and scientifi c potential (to the 100th anniversary of the Institute Of Economics and Management in Agribusiness)
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The article is devoted to the scientific schools of the Faculty of Economics, now the Institute of Economics and Management in Agribusiness of Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. They have been developed during the 100-year period of the Faculty’s work in Timiryazev Academy. The research areas and periods of development of each school and their significant scientific research results are analyzed.
Increasing the efficiency of vegetative propagation of medicinal crops in seedling culture
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The use of vegetative propagation is promising for obtaining raw materials of stable biochemical composition from popular medicinal and essential oil plants of the Lamiaceae family, such as peppermint, common thyme and oregano. Increasing the efficiency of cuttings (increasing rooting, shortening the growing period) is an urgent problem in this field. The domestic OMEK-7 complex (JSC Bioamid) and Fitaktiv extra (LLC NPO BINAM, Russia) were used in the work.
Genetic resources for priority concepts of spring barley breeding in the Volga-Vyatka region
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45At present, the yield of barley varies greatly from year to year. This is due to changes in soil and climatic conditions. In this regard, the problem of selecting new source material for the creation of varieties capable of resisting the action of abiotic and biotic stresses is acute. The study of the global gene pool of spring barley under the conditions of the Volga-Vyatka region helps to identify adaptive forms with a complex or individual traits and properties that meet modern breeding objectives.
Seed productivity and adaptability of varieties of white lupin in the conditions of the Central Chernozem zone
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45In field experiments for four years (2019–2022) in the conditions of the northern part of the Central Chernozem region, the productivity components of different varieties of white lupin (Lupinus albus L.) were determined and presented in the article Dega, Delta, Start, Manovitsky, Timiryazevsky and Gana, the varieties of breeding of Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, were studied.
Validation of water erosion prediction methodology by actual changes in fertility indicators of agro-sod-podzolic soil
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The article presents the results of the computational method for determining the potential danger of water erosion and quantitative agrophysical and agrochemical indicators obtained by traditional methods of their direct measurement.
Use of phytobiotics in feeding monogastric animals (review)
Submitted by Гость (not verified) on Tue, 07/09/2024 - 16:45The negative consequences of the irrational use of feed antibiotics in animal husbandry, consisting in the spread of resistance of pathogens to their action, determine the relevance of the search for and introduction of alternative stabilisers of the intestinal microbiota of animals in the feed industry. These include phytobiotics – plant preparations that help improve animal productivity and health. The paper presents a review of national and foreign scientific literature on the use of phytogenic feed additives in the feeding of monogastric animals.
