Plokhova as a source for studying book culture of Kolyvano-Voskresensk mining district in the second half of XVIIIth century is considered. Data of biographic character, school affairs, everyday life, influenced on the formation of the book collection owner are given. Virtual reconstruction of the book catalogue is carried out.
