Biological features of some representatives of the Ocimum genus in the Bashkir Cis-Urals

This paper presents the results of an introductory study of three representatives of aromatic plants from the Ocimum genus: O. x africanum, O. basilicum var. purpurascens, O. basilicum var. thyrsiflora . The peculiarities of the main phenological phases, biomorphological and reproductive indicators are studied, the information on agrotechnics of basil cultivation in culture in the Bashkir Cis-Urals (Ufa) is given. The studies of the biological features of the above basil taxa were carried out in 2021–22.

Based on a systematic approach, the article examines the main macroeconomic global and national challenges in the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex that affect the sustainable development of the industry and the achievement of national development goals of the Russian Federation. It is shown that the identification of the main challenges facing the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex is the primary basis for developing goals for the strategic development of the agrarian sector.

Citrus fruits are the world’s leading fruit crops. To meet the growing demand and increase the area under these crops, it is necessary to produce high quality planting material. The main method of producing seedlings of cultivated citrus varieties is budding. When using this technique, it is necessary to ensure reliable protection of the joint of the components. There is a lack of information on this issue in the literature. The present study was conducted in the suburb of Jalalabad, Nangarhar, Afghanistan, at a modern nursery.

Studying the initial material of sunflower varieties on the trait “basket`s area” under the conditions of the Lower Volga region

The article presents the results of a three-year study of the combinatory ability of sunflower (HelianthusannuusL.) varieties on the trait “basket’s area” by the topcross method. The experiment was conducted in 2016–2018 in the fields of Russian Research, Design and Technology Institute of Sorghum and Corn. The experiment was repeated three times. The plant density was 4.5 plants per m2. The area of the plots was 7.7 m2 (two rows 5.5 m long; row spacing was 70 cm). The initial material for the study consisted of 43 samples of domestic and foreign selection.

Evaluating the grain quality of spring wheat varieties with purple grain coloring in the conditions of the Central region of the Non-Chernozem zone

The article presents the results of the study of the baking qualities of grain of three varieties of soft spring wheat characterized by by purple grain colouring, and the red grain standard of Zlata in the conditions of the Central region of the Non-Chernozem zone. The years of the study were characterized by contrasting meteorological conditions – excessively humid year 2020 and arid year 2021. Protein content was determined using a spectrophotometer. Gluten was washed manually.

Effi ciency of application of microfertilizers when growing cereal crops on heavy loam soddy-podzolic soils in the central regeon of the Non-Chernozem Zone

In view of the important role of microelements in the physiological and biochemical processes in plants, the study of new types of microfertilizers is of undoubted interest, both in theoretical and practical terms. The possibility of using microelement complexes together with chemical and biological plant protection products makes it possible to combine the terms of their use and increase the biological effectiveness of preparations. At the same time, the effectiveness of microfertilizers largely depends on the degree of soil cultivation, which served as the basis for this research.

The improvement of marketing activities in the market of organic products in the current conditions is undoubtedly a significant aspect of its development, contributing to the formation of new market approaches to doing business. At present, organic products and agricultural products are interchangeable concepts for most consumers, which in turn indicates the lack of formed constants of consumer perception of the term “organic products” and is a significant obstacle to the development of demand in this segment.

Analysis of the biophysical qualities of eggs in the pushkinsk and tzarskosel’skaya hens with various allelic variants of the LCORL gene

The aim of the study was to analyse the association of polymorphic variants of the LCORL gene for SNP A503G with egg quality in chickens of the Pushkin and Tsarskoye Selo breeds. The sample consisted of chickens of the combined productivity direction of the Pushkin (n=107) and Tsarskoye Selo (n=90) breeds of 2021 year of hatching. The birds were kept in individual cages on the basis of the bioresource collection of the RRIFAGB “Genetic Collection of Rare Endangered Breeds of Chickens” (Pushkin, St. Petersburg). The poultry were genotyped by PCR-RFLP.

Meteorological effect on the formation of economic traits of spring wheat in the Central Non-CHernozem region

This article presents the results of the study of the meteorological effect of vegetation on the formation of economic traits of spring wheat in 2021–2022. Fifteen varieties, developed in the different ecological conditions, were selected as study material, among them Zlata was used as a standard. The research work was carried out at the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy (evaluation of field trials during vegetation, analysis of yield and its structure) and at the Department of Remote Hybridization of the N.V.
