Features of the phenology of some representatives of the genus Rosa L. in the conditions of the European North

The article presents the results of observations of the onset of phenological phases in representatives of the genus Rosa L. in the conditions of the European North. Roses are widely used in landscaping of settlements as ornamental, medicinal and fruit plants. The research was carried out in the Dendrological Garden named after I.M. Stratonovich (Arkhangelsk). Objects of research are plants of the genus Rosa L.: R. pendulina L., R. majalis Herrm., R. laxa Retz., R. spinosissima L., R. rugosa Thunb., R. × hybrida, R. glauca Pourett.

Intensification of agricultural production provides the development and introduction of new, progressive, and cost-effective practices, including plant growth regulators. The effect of various growth regulators on the productivity of fodder beet of the Eckendorf yellow variety type was studied in the conditions of the Central-Non-Chernozem region of the Russian Federation in an experimental field in the Kaluga branch of Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy in the period from 2019 to 2021.

Population analysis of plant communities makes it possible to predict the development and transformation of natural cenoses under anthropogenic effect, to solve problems aimed at optimizing the biogeocenotic cover. The Festuca valesiaca Gaudin community was studied in the southern arid zone of Russia. The experiment was carried out in the Baskunchak-Kharabalin plain in the specially protected area of the Bogdinsko-Baskunchaksky Nature Reserve, where the grazing regime is moderate.

On the eff ect of a constant magnetic fi eld on the germination of spring wheat seeds of the likamero variety

This work is devoted to the study of the effect of a constant magnetic field on the germination of spring wheat seeds of the Lycamero variety. In the experiment, the effect of the north and south poles of magnets on the number and mass of seedlings was studied. The induction of the artificially created magnetic field in the seed location area did not exceed 14 mT. The dispersion analysis of the experimental results showed that, with a probability of 0.95, the magnetic field does not affect the number of seedlings and does not increase their mass.

The implementation of the National Security Strategy imposes special requirements on the agricultural sector of the economy as the basis for ensuring the country’s food security. A comprehensive solution to the tasks set out in the Food Security Doctrine of the Russian Federation, the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food markets is impossible without modernizing the drivers of development of sectoral economic growth.

The world is increasingly using sanctions to achieve the economic and political goals of their initiators. They tend to target key sectors of the economy, including trade and finance. Sanctions are also applied to individuals and companies. At the same time, agriculture and food security are formally exempted from restrictions on humanitarian grounds, but are still negatively affected because they are an integral part of the economy.

Histological study of lettuce and basil by infection with Ps. Aeruginosa and Ps. Fluorescens In vitro

Studies based on the use of an electronic microscope revealed ultrastructural changes in plant cells of lettuce and Basil in interaction with Ps.aeruginosa ATCC B3994, expressed in deformation and violation of the integrity of the cell wall, increasing the size of chloroplasts, sometimes full destruction accompanied by the increased number of plastoglobuli. Ps.fluorescens ATCC948 were localized in the cytoplasm and chloroplasts of cells without a cytotoxic action. Plant isolates were identified with gram staining, biochemical tests and PCR.

Seed quality and growth processes at early stages of winter wheat organogenesis depending on their biological treatment

The article presents the results of laboratory studies on the effect of biopreparations Humate 7+, Growth Matrix, Ecorost, Azotovite and Phosphatovite on the sowing qualities and growth parameters of terrestrial and underground plant organs of the winter wheat variety Nemchinovskaya 57. The work revealed the stimulating effect of the studied biological compounds on the initial growth processes of seedlings. A significant growth-stimulating effect on root system development was observed. The excess in the root length compared to the control was 0.7–21.0 mm (102–145%).

Zoogeographic groups and distribution of rodents (Rodentia) and lagomorphs (Lagomorpha) in landscapes of North-East Azerbaijan

The article is concerned with the research carried out in three landscapes of the Samur-Divichi and Gonakkend natural-geographical regions. They determined the species composition and geographical origin of rodents in each landscape. A total of 23 species were recorded in three landscapes. Nineteen species are present in one landscape, 17 species in each of the other two landscapes (I, II). In two of the explored landscapes, the species of the Western Asia group predominate. In each of the three landscapes, there are 12 identical rodent species.

Evaluation of the size of the private subsidiary farms based on groupings by area

The article analyzes the approaches of state statistical bodies to the construction of analytical groupings of private subsidiary farms by the total land area and the total sown area. Analytical groupings published according to the national agricultural censuses, as a rule, represent distribution series, where the characteristics of the selected groups are limited only by the number of farms, the volume of the phenomenon and its ratio to the total. In addition, the program for publishing the results of the agricultural microcensus does not provide for a regional section.
