Identifi cation of barriers to innovative development of agrarian economic systems

Global transformations of world economy pose new challenges to the science and practice, economic instability, high dynamics of changes of the external environment, push the economy to an innovative way of its development as introduction of innovations in practice becomes practically a unique source of sustainable competitive advantage of existence of any economic system. The analysis carried out in the work indicated the presence of very significant factors impeding innovation development of both economic systems and its individual subsystems.

Efficient location of organic crop production by regions of Russia

To effectively locate the organic crop production by regions of Rus sia, a methodology has been developed. It includes the development of a database for calculating a system of indicators of the conditions for the production and consum ption of organic products. The indicators are selected using the expert method. They characterize the regions in terms of the potential for socioeconomic development; the state of agriculture; climatic and ecological conditions; the standard of living of the population that forms the demand for organic products.

Infrared absorption spectra of granulometric element fractions of typical virgin chernozem of the Kursk region

The fractions of granulometric elements isolated by the method of roiling from the humusaccumulative horizon A of the deep typical virgin chernozem of the Kursk Region were studied using infrared spectroscopy. According to the data obtained, the fractions of granulometric elements differ significantly in their material composition. The coarse dust fractions mainly consist of quartz, feldspar, polysaccharides and a small amount of specific humus substances.

Modern socio-economic processes of rural development make it necessary to look at the problems of the agrarian sector of the economy from a new angle. The growing differences in rural areas in terms of social and economic development reduce the efficiency of the spatial organization of Russia’s economy, affect food security and form an environment of focal and fragmented development in traditionally agrarian regions. The spatial structure of Russia’s economy includes both depressive rural areas and quite successful ones showing stable economic growth.

The basis of the technology of herbaceous cuttings is the natural ability of plants to restore lost organs or parts – regeneration, it gives an opportunity to obtain plants from leafy stem cuttings after the formation of their adventitious roots. The manifestation of regeneration is not uniform and largely depends on various factors, such as life form, genetic characteristics, age and condition of the mother plant, rooting conditions, etc.

The selection process for getting the perfect variety is continuous and always relevant. In the context of the development of domestic viticulture and winemaking, modern economic and environmental conditions require a wide range of grapes that have a set of various economically valuable qualities, including high adaptability, biological plasticity, combined with consistently high quality of the crop. It is especially important to develop competitive, highly profitable grape varieties that do not require a large pesticide load and are resistant to frost and fungal diseases.

Seed productivity and viability of weed seeds in various soil types

The results of long-term field experiments on two types of soils (chernozem and kastanozems) are presented. The indicators of average seed productivity of more than 50 species of weeds growing in these soils are presented. The duration of the viability of seeds planted in a 0–30 cm soil layer, the quality of seeds during their layer-by-layer placement in the soil, on its surface and during storage in a dry warehouse is indicated. It was revealed that early spring and wintering weeds in chernozem soils had the highest seed productivity (more than 50 thousand seeds per plant).

Genetic structure of west siberian meat sheep and kulunda fi ne-wool sheep by CAST, GDF9 AND KRT1.2 genes

The purpose of the study is to analyze the genotypic structure and population-genetic parameters of the West Siberian meat and Kulunda fine-wool breed of sheep by the CAST, GDF9 and KRT1.2 genes and blood groups. Molecularnogenetic and immunogenetic studies were carried out in the SRIAH (Siberian Research Institute of Animal Husbandry SFSCA RAS) biotechnology laboratory. PCR-RFLP analysis to determine genotypes was performed according to the described and approved methods on a C1000 “BioRad” amplifier; the results were visualized using an E-Box-CX5.TS-20.M gel documentation system.

The fauna of Yakutia is rich and diverse, but the epizootic situation of the republic with regard to infectious diseases of wild animals remains poorly studied. There are practically no reports in the literature on the study of the microbiota of wild ungulates of the Arctic and Subarctic. The study of the microbiome of wild animals is not only relevant but also informative research, as the microbiota is a sensitive indicator that responds to many factors of the external and internal environment of the body.
