For the first time, the author attempts to analyze the scholar’s contribution to the theory and methodology of information management, She offers the chronology of Gilarevsky’s studies of evolution, structure, methods and instruments of information management as reflected in his papers delivered at conferences, published in professional serials, scientific discussions, encyclopedic entries, and in monographs.
