In 2021, the scientific community celebrates the 95 th anniversary of Ida Pavlovna Kalinina (1926-2015), the academician, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor, the most famous scientist in Russia and abroad. In 1951, she graduated from the Fruit and Vegetable Faculty of the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy and devoted 64 years of her life to working for the benefit of domestic horticulture in Siberia. She started working as a junior researcher, and since 1967, for almost 30 years, headed the leading Research Institute of Siberian Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko. During this time, under her scientific guidance, domestic assortment and cultivation technologies were developed for 14 garden crops.
