Great burnet (Sanguisorba officinalis L.) is a valuable medicinal, melliferous and ornamental plant. Natural populations of this species are quite rare in some regions of Russia. The article presents an assessment of the current state of S. officinalis coenopopulations in the KhantyMansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Russia. The age structure of S. officinalis coenopopulations was studied, and the biological and exploitable reserves of S. officinalis plant material in various plant communities of the Surgut District of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra were determined. The article is devoted to the adaptation of imported cattle in the Republic of Sakha ( Ya kutia ) . The aim of the research is to assess the adaptation of breeding dairy cattle imported to the Republic of Sakha ( Yakutia ) to the extreme climatic conditions of the region. In the period from 2013 to 2022, 3856 heads of high-yielding breeding cattle were imported: Red Steppe breed , Black Pied breed, Red and White breed and Holstein. The research was based on the annual farm reports and the results of blood molecular genetic diagnostics by the laboratory of Sahaagroplem.

Polynomial conjugate variability of traits of linear assessment of the exterior and milk yield of highly productive Holstein cattle

The conjugate variability of milk yield of 1243 first lactation cows with 18 linear exterior traits was analyzed. The research was carried out on the first-calf heifers of a highly productive subpopulation of Holstein cattle with milk yield of over 13000 kg per forage cow. The average productivity of the first-calf heifers for 305 days of lactation was 10093 kg of milk.

Evaluation of breeding qualities of hog producers using the BLUP method

The paper presents the approbation results of the program “Assessment of the breeding value of hogs using the BLUP method” developed by All-Russian Research Institute of Pedigree Breeding (VNIIplem) in cooperation with LLC “Selikom” (Ryazan). The authors show some factors affecting the breeding value of the animals and give the basic provisions of their genetic evaluation with the method of best linear undistorted prediction (BLUP).

The article assesses the effect of gel fertilizers on growth (average shoot length and bush growth in general), grape productivity, quality and transportability. Studies on the effect of new generation mineral gel fertilizers on the table grape of the Italy variety in the Mountain Valley Crimea proved their positive impact on growth, yield and quality of grape plants. There was a significant increase in phytometric indicators in the experimental variant compared to the reference: the average length of one-year shoots - by 17.7 cm (9.9%) and growth of the bush - 153.6 cm 3 (7.8%).

The world assortment of strawberries includes about 15 thousand varieties, lines and shapes. Breeding work continues in various directions, but the priority remains the creation of varieties characterised by high productivity, large-fruited and marketable fruits that meet the requirements of industrial cultivation. It is possible to increase the efficiency of breeding in this direction by finding and using new sources and donors of valuable traits. The aim of the research was to study the characters of productivity and quality of strawberry fruit in order to identify new breeding sources.

Field assessment of the result of biological treatment of seeds of spring soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

The effect of pre-sowing biological treatment of seeds of two varieties (Tyumenskaya 25 and Shortandinskaya 95 improved) of spring soft wheat on field germination of seeds, biological stability and plant survival during the growing season in relation to the productivity was studied. The study was conducted in field conditions (an experimental plot of the biostation “Lake Kuchak”of University of Tyumen) on sod-podzolic soil, sandy loam in granulometric composition.
