Empowering research in digital environment: a collaborative approach by Indian agricultural libraries and research centres

The article discusses the use of digital platforms, consortiums, collaborative online catalogues that have substantially transformed the Indian agricultural libraries and are playing a significant role in research support in digital environment. It describes the use of CeRA (Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture) online platform in Pantvarsity for the five years. It is shown that the use of these e-resources by the academic community of the university has a declining trend.

Bibliometric analysis of publications on the problem of forming information culture of a person

The article reveals the results of bibliometric analysis of publications on the problem of forming personal information culture presented in Russian scientific journals during 2007-2013. The most productive authors and groups investigating the questions of information culture are identified; geographical, industrial and thematic structure of the document flow on the issue are considered; the productivity of scientific journals publishing articles on the forming personal information culture is analyzed.

Over the past decade, the issue of uncontrolled growth of unsystematic information in Internet has remained acute for the scientific community. The problem of finding relevant information related to the distribution and autonomy of scientific information resources remains. A priority in the field of centralized access to the key scientifically significant sources of information is the creation of a united information space (UIS).

Since the early 1990s non-traditional religions were widespread in Siberia and the Far East, and across Russia, among which there was a large number of totalitarian sects and destructive cults. The reason for the phenomenal success of previously unknown religious and occult teachings has been the spiritual vacuum that occurred in the country after the Communist ideology fall. Most of the new denominations launched in Russia publishing, which by the second decade of the XXI century was carried on by several dozen communal or sectarian publishers.
