The Information Component of Collecting: the Case Study from the Collecting Practice of N. P. Rumyantsev

Collecting is a multi-stage process. The acquisition of a written monument is preceded by a preparatory stage, which includes the search for the monument, negotiations with the owner on the terms of sale or transfer.
