Lyublinsky is an outstanding medieval historian, bibliologist, and specialist in paleography and the restoration of written monuments, who has worked for many years at the M. E. SaltykovShchedrin State Public Library. The figure of this scholar is of considerable interest not only because of his fundamental academic contributions, but also as an example of resilience under the most severe conditions of wartime.
