Vectors of Developing Professionalism of Students of the Library and Information Faculty of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture

The professional standard “Library and Information Services Specialist” aims to update approaches in the educational process. The purpose of the article is to characterize the directions of professionalism development of students of the Library and Information Faculty (the eldest and the largest in the country) of the St. Petersburg State Institute of Culture (BIF SPbGIK) in the context of the professional standard requirements.
