A socio-philosophical analysis of virtual communication

The article presents a review and substantive analysis of socio-humanitarian studies devoted to virtual communication. The range of topical problems related to the spread of virtual communication is defined: the lack of a generally accepted understanding of the essence of virtual communication and, as a consequence, the lack of a single definition; the presence of a variety of inconsistent methodological approaches to its study; the growing number of highly specialized studies of virtual communication in psychology, sociology, pedagogy and others.

The current trends in the development of methods and regulatory framework for indexing library information resources

The author examines the development of the basic concepts of indexing information resources using classifications and dictionaries of information retrieval languages. The impact of digital communications and the Internet on the indexing methods in the information environment, including the libraries, is emphasized. The modern library collections comprise various types of resources, both traditional paper publications and digital resources of various types, widely available on the Internet.

To assess the socio-cultural, scientific and pedagogical novelty and significance of the annual reports of the international forum “Crimea”, read by Ya. L. Shraiberg in 2001–2021, the key words are used – the neologisms “bibliometamorphosis” and “Bibliologos”. Metamorphoses (transformations, transformations) embody the universal variability of the world, and at the same time its stability, since the transforming object does not disappear without a trace, but is transformed into a related entity.
