Their key task is to provide users with constant round-the-clock access to information resources and services, regardless of the time constraints of the traditional work schedule. In the field of library and information services, there is an increasing trend towards the introduction of digital tools – chat-bots and dialog agents, operating on the basis of artificial intelligence and providing operational user service in real time.
