Variability of the felted cherry (Prunus tomentosa Thunb.) in the Republic of Altai

In the territory of Russia, felted cherry is a cultivated plant. All natural populations are feral plants that entered the European part of Russia more than 150 years ago through the Primorsky Krai. The aim of the study is to assess the variability and conjugacy of fruit and leaf characters in a population of felted cherry. The subjects of the study were the wild felted cherry trees growing near the island of Patmos, Chemalsky district, Republic of Altai.
