Clonal micropropagation of Coelogyne mooreana Sander ex Rolfe

Coelogyne mooreana Sander ex Rolfe, a valuable, rare, and endemic orchid species of the Vietnamese flora, is characterized by high ornamental qualities. This orchid is highly ornamental and often referred to as the “queen” of the genus Coelogyne due to its large, white, fragrant flowers adorned with black spots and a central yellow stripe. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a protocol for clonal micropropagation by modifying the nutrient medium with organic additives and plant growth regulators.

The main methods of apple tree recovery from latent viruses are thermotherapy and chemotherapy. Depending on the type of virus, the applied methods of apple tree recovery can be different and require improvement in relation to the biological characteristics of the rootstock 62–396 and the properties of viruses. The aim of the research is to study the features of recovery from the main harmful viruses of the apple tree clonal rootstock 62–396 using the methods of complex in vitro therapy.

The paper presents the results of the development of the microclonal propagation technology of Digitalis purpurea L. with plant adaptation in hydroponic Ebb and Flow Systems. It has been found that MS and WPM growth media with a full and reduced content of mineral salts supplemented with 6-BAP cytokinines, 2-iP and auxins of indoleacetic acid, isobutyric acid in various concentrations can be highly efficient for in vitro cultivation of the plants.

Current trends in the development of the horticulture industry have shown that in order to meet the needs of the Russian population for fruits and berries, it is necessary to expand the plantations of these crops. Clonal micropropagation is a modern method of mass, accelerated vegetative propagation of plants, which is widely used in the production of domestic planting material for garden plants. However, given that most of the nutrient media used today in the practice of clonal micropropagation were created in 70–80 years of XX century, there is a need to improve its optimal compos ition.

For many years, grapes were considered to be an unpromising crop in the conditions of the Central Non-Black Earth Zone but their wider spread has been encouraged by the appearance of new varieties whose berries ripen in a relatively short time. The article presents the results of research on clonal micropropagation of sour cherry (Prunus cerasus L.) which is difficult to reproduce at the proliferation stage by traditional methods. The article presents the results of research on the effects of light spectral composition on the morphophysiological parameters of microclones of raspberries (variety Orange miracle) and blackberries (variety Black satin), cultivated in vitro. The high efficiency of using narrow-band and wide-band light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for these purposes is shown. It was found that optical radiation in the studied spectral ranges provided various effects on the growth of plant microshoots, as well as the reproduction coefficient.
