STUDY OF PROMISING POTATO GENOTYPES WITH A HIGH CONTENT OF ANTIOXIDANTS IN VITRO

In the modern world, potatoes remain a consistently valuable culture for humans. It primarily serves as a component of good nutrition due to the high content of carbohydrates in tubers. It is a raw material for producing alcohol, starch, protein, and other products used in various areas of the national economy. Scientists currently pay attention to potatoes with colored tubers, as they contain many antioxidants. These secondary metabolites help people cope with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, overweight, cancer, hypertension, and other diseases.

Histological study of lettuce and basil by infection with Ps. Aeruginosa and Ps. Fluorescens In vitro

Studies based on the use of an electronic microscope revealed ultrastructural changes in plant cells of lettuce and Basil in interaction with Ps.aeruginosa ATCC B3994, expressed in deformation and violation of the integrity of the cell wall, increasing the size of chloroplasts, sometimes full destruction accompanied by the increased number of plastoglobuli. Ps.fluorescens ATCC948 were localized in the cytoplasm and chloroplasts of cells without a cytotoxic action. Plant isolates were identified with gram staining, biochemical tests and PCR.

Light spectral composition effects on raspberry and blackberry microclones morphophysiological traits in vitro

The article presents the results of research on the effects of light spectral composition on the morphophysiological parameters of microclones of raspberries (variety Orange miracle) and blackberries (variety Black satin), cultivated in vitro. The high efficiency of using narrow-band and wide-band light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for these purposes is shown. It was found that optical radiation in the studied spectral ranges provided various effects on the growth of plant microshoots, as well as the reproduction coefficient.
