The authors explore the functionalities of digital information resources of the RF federal archival institutions: their capability to satisfy the current and emerging demands in the modern society, as well as the archives preparedness for unified information space.
The article presents the results of the study of winter wheat varieties in terms of grain quality. The study was conducted in 2022–2023 at the Field Experimental Station of Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy. The common methods of laboratory research of physical, biochemical and baking qualities of grain were used. The meteorological conditions of the study years varied influencing the grain quality of winter wheat. In 2022, precipitation was relatively evenly distributed against the background of elevated air temperature.
The article presents the results of research on the study of biomorphological features of Phlox paniculata L. varieties from the collection of the Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy for the most important ornamental and economically valuable features. A methodology was developed and carried out to assess the ornamental features of some Ph. paniculata varieties to obtain breeding material promising for use in urban landscaping, as well as agro-industrial facilities and private gardening.
The authors discuss the findings of the study of documents of 1989-1993 issued by the executive authorities and preserved in the State Archive of Kaluga Region. The purpose of the study is building the electronic archive of the documents related to Chernobyl disaster mitigation efforts on the contaminated territories. The research method of data analysis was applied. As a result of the accomplished study, the document repository was established to preserve the most significant materials related to the recovery of radiation contaminated lands of Kaluga region.
The material laid down in the basis of the article is drawn on various bibliographic sources and library collections (Russian State Library, Russian National Library, Research Library of Tomsk State University). The object of the article is for the first time to present and systematize the main body of literary and fiction texts of the 1920s–1940s in the context of publishing activity of literary groups and associations of the Russian Far Eastern First- Wave émigré.
The study of the unique bibliophile heritage of writers, historians, philosophers, scientists and artists who happened to be far from Russia is important from the point of view of understanding how the best representatives of Russian emigration sought to preserve the collections that they managed to bring out of Russia and multiply over the years of living abroad. Fortunately, many collections were returned to their homeland, but many rare priceless materials remained abroad forever.
One of the most significant and well-known samizdat publications – the collection "The Process of Four" – is considered in several aspects: as inheriting the traditions of the previous samizdat collection "The White Book", as revolutionary (an array of letters in defense of the accused) for the beginning of the human rights movement in the USSR and as a unique text , which has its own, special handwritten version. The personality of this original copy creator – the scientist from Novosibirsk Academgorodok A.I.
