The purpose of the article is to determinate the role of the external signs in the multi-volume editions in the book marking and to solve the practical problems of reconstruction of the original composition of the book collection of Kolyvan-Voskresensky mining plants (KVMP) for the period of the XVIII th – early XIX th centuries.

The purpose of the article is to consider the book by J. P. Eberhard (Johann Peter Eberhard, 1727– 1779) “Beiträge zur Mathesi Applicata...” (1757) in the context of the reconstruction of the composition of the foreign part of the book collection of Kolyvan Voznesensk mining plants.
