Interaction of science and society: modern Russian sociological studies

Of particular importance in this context is the issue of disseminating scientific knowledge and increasing interest in science in general. The article discusses the dynamics of studying the issues of interaction between science and society. The purpose of the article is to present an overview of the main areas of sociological studies conducted by Russian researchers in the field of examining the interaction of science and society both at the federal and regional levels.
Neurophilosophy and neurobibliology: problems at the intersection of sciences

It shows the importance of a new formulation of the problem. Neurophilosophy is an area of interdisciplinary research based both on knowledge of the neurophysiological foundations of mental phenomena and on computer methods for modeling brain activity.
Studying information needs of central scientific library users in a big industrial city to improve the library document resources

Therefore, systematic developing of library and information space is vital.
IFLA and Sustainable Development Goals: Reviewing the projects by IFLA Environment, Sustainability and Libraries Section

ENSULIB encourages the libraries to inspire their communities for the ecologically sustainable course of action through providing materials on “green” librarianship, giving the floor to “green” librarians and library projects, by taking the lead and propounding the discussion.
