The study of morphometric features of the body and the establishment of relationships between them is the basis for the selection of American minks (Neovison vison). In this regard, the study of body parameters and identifying correlations with significant selection indicators are of practical importance. At the same time, such a morphological indicator as chest girth has not practically been studied.

Winter wheat in pure fallow is in great need of phosphorus fertilizers on light gray earth soils. The content of N, P and K in leaves in the heading phase and the ratio of N: P and N: K correctly reflects its nutrient requirements. The optimal doses for the yields do not ensure that the grain is of high quality.

The article analyzes the effect of cytokinin 0.4 g/l 6-furfurfurilaminopurin on the yield and quality of the sunflower variety Yubileyniy 60 in 2019-2020. In our experiment, we tried to show the mechanism of action when applied 0.4 g/l 6-furfurfurilaminopurine in three doses of 0.5, 0.75, and 1.0 g/l on the essential factors of plant development and high yield. The researchers obtained maximum sunflower productivity with 6-furfurfurilaminopurine treatment at a dose of 0.75 l/ha.

Modern achievements in dairy goat breeding

In recent years, the world population of dairy goats has grown. Advanced farms have observed a significant increase in the productivity of dairy goats up to 1600 kg of milk on average in the herd. This is ensured by the development of industrial technology, new methods and techniques of feeding, herd reproduction and rearing. Robotized complexes for feed preparation and distribution, etc. are being introduced on farms. The range of scientific achievements in dairy goat breeding includes the technology of prolonged lactation from 600 to 1500 days without tupping.

Effect of nodule bacteria preparations on yield and protein productivity of alfalfa under conditions of foothill areas of North Ossetia-Alania

S with alfalfa varia were carried out under environmental conditions of the premountain zone of North Ossetia-Alania on the black soil of peeled pebbles. The authors compared the effect of biological and mineral forms of nitrogen on the formation of yield and protein productivity of alfalfa crops. In the considered three-year study, eight full-fledged alfalfa harvests were obtained - two in the year of sowing and three in the following years. During the whole period, the control variant yielded 13.38 t/ha of hay.
