Г. С. Солодова The paper considers the socio-cultural aspects and consequences of international migration. It singles out factors that facilitate and impede the integration of immigrants into the host society and shows the importance of religion in strengthening inter-ethnic relations. The article uses the results of three empirical studies: of migrant Muslims and the population of Novosibirsk.
