The communicative model of «business reading» is presented. Reader's communication is considered as process of transferring and perception of knowledge on the basis of the U. Shramm and C. Osgud’s circular model of communication. Elements of the communicative model (the communicator 1 – coding process – message – channel – the communicator 2 – a decoding process – feed-back) and their specificity in scientific sphere are considered in detail.
